FlexJobs announced the acquisition of Localwise, an online job marketplace and talent-matching platform. The addition brings a dedicated focus on local job searching and hiring to FlexJobs. Founded in 2014, Localwise has grown to serve a community of more than 519,000 members. The companies will operate together under the FlexJobs brand.

Job-search engine Adzuna renewed its contract to run Find a job, the UK government’s online jobs portal. Find a job connects millions of job seekers with thousands of employers online and through job centers around the UK. Adzuna has provided the service for the Department for Work and Pensions since 2018.   

Background screening solution Certn secured $50 million in Series B funding. B Capital led the round. Last year, the company raised more than $34 million. Certn said the funds would be used to invest in new markets worldwide. It plans to create 160 new roles this year and has made a number of strategic hires, including a new managing director for the U.S. market.  

WizeHire raised $30 million in a Series B round led by Tiger Global. The investment brings WizeHire’s total funding to $37.5 million and its valuation to $250 million. The company said it plans to introduce new offerings like tax, payroll and insurance advice. The company recently launched a mobile app for iOS and Android.

Beeline received a majority investment from PE firm Stone Point Capital. The investment will allow Beeline to accelerate development of its technology platform and bring additional solutions to market. Existing investor New Mountain Capital will remain a minority investor in the company, with representation on the company’s board of directors.

HireLogic raised $4 million in seed funding. The funds will be used to continue expanding its platform’s capabilities, including applied machine learning, integration to video conferencing platforms and ATS, and establish go to market activities based on a product-led growth model.

Modern Hire’s intelligent hiring platform is now available on the SAP Store. By integrating with SAP SuccessFactors, Modern Hire’s AI-based platform will help SAP customers with an efficient and streamlined hiring process to identify candidates and automate screening, interviewing and assessment workflows across all HR systems.

RPO provider Cielo acquired Peridus Group, a boutique HR technology consulting firm. For over two years, Peridus has been consulting for Cielo to offer Workday, HR strategy, technical, integration and data migration consulting services.
