CareerBuilder said it earned Workday Certified Integration status, becoming the first job board to be certified for the HCM platform’s partner marketplace. The integration is meant to remove points of friction for both recruiters and candidates, and create a simplified application process.

GR8 People announced new features for its G2 High Performer Enterprise Talent CRM. The GR8 CRM messages candidates through automated lead journeys, driven by activities and status transitions. Each lead journey consists of pre-defined messages that assess qualifications, interest and availability to deliver lists of actionable candidates to recruiters.

Salesforce expanded the scope of its Work.com platform with well-being, learning and automation features, positioning the platform to more directly compete with HR tech vendors such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors and UKG. One of the new modules is Work.com Talent, which provides employees with a single view of their skills, development goals and potential career paths, as well as career guidance and access to internal roles that align with their interests.

Gloat closed a $57 million Series C investment round, which brings its total funding to $92 million. The talent marketplace provider will use the investment for product development and market expansion. The round was led by Accel, with participation from existing investors Eight Roads (Fidelity), Intel Capital, Magma Venture Partners and PICO Partners.

Sense, a talent engagement and communication platform for recruiting, announced $16 million in Series C funding. Bringing total funding raised to $40 million, the round will fund further development of the company’s AI-powered talent communication and engagement suite. Key investors in this round include Avataar Venture Partners, with additional participation from previous investors including Accel (again) and GV.

Recruiting platform dotin launched the PerFit-Diversity and Inclusion module, which is designed to compile insights related to gender and ethnic diversity. The company calls the module a “DEI barometer” that helps employers create plans to address diversity gaps without using personally identifiable information.

iSolved launched a Giving & Volunteering module, which incorporates the capabilities of its recently acquired Givful unit into People Cloud. The feature links employers and employees with more than 2 million non-profits while allowing a simple way to manage donations, volunteer hours, tax reporting, events, sharing and social-impact reporting.

Canadian HR platform Humi announced an integration with Indeed. The integration removed mundane tasks from HR’s plate so that it and recruiters can focus on identifying and vetting talent. Humi’s platform provides SMBs with HR, payroll and benefits solutions.

Soccer star Abby Wambach, Josh Bersin; Marcus Buckingham, author and futurist Ravin Jesuthasan and industry analyst Jason Averbook will give keynotes at the HR Technology Conference & Exposition, live and in-person September 28 – October 1. Bersin will discuss how the HR tech market has changed over the last year, while Buckingham introduces new research on the quality of service delivered by HR function and how the HR Net Promoter Score drives an organization’s talent brand.
