As a next step toward developing a new set of capabilities through the acquisition of JazzHR and NXTThing RPO, Jobvite unveiled a new parent company and corporate identity, under the name Employ Inc.
The combination comes as the private equity firm K1 Investment Management acquired the three organizations and combined them into a single business, according to Staffing Industry Analysts. JazzHR CEO Peter Lamson will lead the new company.
Employ’s activities over the past year have led to substantial growth, the company said. It now serves more than 12,000 customers and operates a network of 1,200 partners. It also hosts 1.2 million open jobs and manages more than 270 million candidates.
“Today marks the next stage of Employ’s exciting growth journey, enabling us to accelerate new, innovative offerings that transform how organizations solve their greatest recruiting challenges,” said Lamson.
Intelligent Technologies
Employ offers a combination of purpose-built, intelligent technologies, services and industry expertise. It provides SMBs to global enterprises with a single solution for recruiting and growing a diverse workforce through the Jobvite, JazzHR and NXTThing RPO brands.
JazzHR, Jobvite and NXTThing RPO will continue to operate under their respective brands and structures as subsidiaries of the new parent company. As part of the launch, a new logo and brand colors have been revealed, with an official website to go live in the coming weeks.
Recently, Jobvite and ChartHop announced an integration that allows HR, hiring and finance leaders to improve communication across teams, increase visibility, better utilize data and automate elements of their hiring workflows. Among other things, pairing ChartHop’s scenario planning tools with Jobvite’s ATS opens the communication pipeline among teams to help automate hiring processes and manage headcount plans visually.
Jobvite offers recruiting software and an ATS, while JazzHR provides similar capabilities with a focus on small and midsized employers. NXTThing RPO provides recruitment process outsourcing services.
According to Staffing Industry Analysts, Lamson said that under the company’s new arrangement, employers who grow into a need for an enterprise-level ATS will be able to easily transfer from JazzHR’s platform to Jobvite’s.
