Search engines are important for recruiters, as they are a great way to source resumes quick on the Internet. There are search engines especially for recruiting, but some search engines just happen to be great for recruiters. Here’s one of the search engines that you can use for recruiting:
www.clusty.com
It’s an engine I’ve been using for a while now and one that I wrote about brielfy before. But if you have not touched this site yet, you should. Have you ever searched and found 300 results? Did they seem pretty useless?
What if you could break these results down and cluster them into similar queries? Well you can and it’s called Clusty. Clusty queries everal top sites, combines the results and generates and rdered list relevant to your search.
Try running a search targeting CPA’s and maybe a blog or foundation they belong too.. On the left (screen shot below) you’ll notice that the results are clustered allowing you to narrown you viewing time only looking into those candidates from the targeted groups or location.
Give it a shot, it’s well worth the time!
Let me know what you think about this search engine, and if you have any other search engines that you would recommend for recruiters – either specific recruiting search engines or just tools that you use for sourcing resumes on the web.
